Material = (4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 layer damascus
Blade = 1" x 3-1/8" Long Grind
Overall Length = 7-1/2"
Full Tang
1/8" Scale Holes & 1/4" Lanyard Hole
Blade has been Precision ground, Laser cut, Hollow ground, Heat-treated to 58-60 Rc, & Etched
This blade just needs a final edge and some handles.

Very Comfortable Handle design

This knife blank has very comfortable handle size and design. The one thing I would change is to move the pin holes further to center of handle.

great looking knife,it did have a pretty long scratch on the tang but it will be covered by the scales. Will buy from them again.

I selected this blade because of the size and general blade shape which will make an excellent all around hunting knife. Blank is dead flat, grlind is well done and the etch and overall craftsmanship is excellent. A very affordable but well made Damascus blade that has taken and held a very good edge. Only criticism is the eight pin holes plus lanyard hole in the blank-requires a lot of effort to get everything lined up when attaching the handle when four pin holes down the center of the blank would have been sufficient. Overall, though, a very well made product that is USA made.

Poor grinding

It ‘s says in the product description “ This blade just needs a final edge and some handles.” . I have ordered these blades twice and found heavy grinding marks in the hollow grind that have to be sanded down and then need re-etching. I had expected a better finish.
But with that I probably will continue to buy from Alabama Damascus Steel, as the steel is very good quality.

I built several knives using your Damascus blades. Always get compliments, and the knives stay sharp. Made one for hunting buddy, he requested I build 2 for his sons. ADS0078-DKG is a great size and shape!

I made a knife for a hunting buddy using this blade last year, and have had two requests to make the same basic knives. Everything about this Damascus blade is perfect, as a general hunting knife in the woods of Pennsylvania

A D provides a very nice product in Damascus steel. Their price is competitive or better than other Damascus steel and remember, it is American made! The service is great and if you have a question just contact them and they respond very quickly. I recommend them for you Damascus steel needs.
