Material = (4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 layer damascus

Blade = 1-1/8" x 4-1/2" Long Grind

Overall Length = 9-5/8"

Full Tang

Blade has been Precision ground, Laser cut, Hollow ground, Heat-treated to 58-60 Rc, & Etched

This blade just needs a final edge and some handles.

I have purchased several blades from this website and every one has been absolutely flawless. This blade is for an upcoming show where it will have an antler scale handle, brass bolsters, and one of my leather sheaths. I have foreign made blades to show for comparison and you can see that there are visible flaws in those blades. That is what you get for $35 on the internet. Definitely not lifetime quality blades like these. This blade is the kind of quality that you would want to give to a family member and I really like working with them.

The blade is well made. I have used mine to skin deer, pigs and cattle it holds a good edge easy to resharpen, Mine's a user knife.
The temper is what they say it is , hard and 3/4 down the tang, so drilling any additional holes isn't going to happen without a carbide bit or retempering.but there's no need as you can put scales on it as it is.
I have a # 53 coming, i expect it to be as good.
