I am very pleased with the knife blank. The Damascus pattern is gorgeous and the shape and feel is exactly what I was hoping for.

The pictures do not do this blade justice. You have to hold it in your hand to appreciate the detail that goes into this beautifully crafted blade. From the pattern in the metal to the hollow ground blade this knife blank is truly a work of art. The light weight along with the flexibility of the blade are surprising and the finish is perfect. My only regret is that I bought this blank for my daughter-in-law as a present, but I think I know how to fix that. I will just have to buy another one for me. If you need a blank that you would be proud to own, or give as a gift then look no further because these blades from Alabama Damascus are the best.

This is my most popular knife that I've been attaching scales to and selling to friends. The steel is visually appealing, the design is sleek and looks great with scales. Hope to make one for myself soon.

Beautiful steel. No burrs cut clean. Overall I would definitely buy again and probably will.

May be a little stiff filleting but should work fine for boning still a great blade

Beautiful blade., I'm in the process of deciding what scales (handle) to attach.

This knife is quite stiff; a little stiffer than your typical fillet knife, however what it lacks in flexibility it makes up for in edge retention and overall profile. I have had no trouble filleting fish with this knife, and as a plus, it makes a great boning knife for home butchery.
