1. Best high carbon dama for stock removal

   I always enjoy the end product when I make something from these billets and this time was no exception. Having read access to precision ground steel in such incredible patterns is very nice. I had a tiny void in the steel near the edge but it ended up being no big deal and I was able to work around it.

   I've made five knives with Alabama Damascus billets. Never encountered any cold shuts or delams, each billet was solid right to the edge. Heat treats beautifully with my simple setup (gas forge and peanut oil). Considering how much work goes into making the billets, these guys have great prices. I'll be an Alabama Damascus customer for years to come!
