   I have purchased several billets from Alabama Damascus and have made several knives out of them. Have been very pleased with the patterns I have purchased . Have talked to Brad several times and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. Top notch product, top notch company! I will continue to buy Alabama Damascus and if you are considering buying one I tell you to go ahead you won’t be disappointed!

2. these blades have a steel grain that says beautiful as the prettiest mahogany that has ever grown.

   I started on a Saturday morning with a billet, put it on my bandsaw, steel blade, after grinding three thermal normalization steps. By the next day, I did my final forging and quenching and these blades are just gorgeous. They’re straight and they’re strong. I love this product so much. I’ve already ordered another billet.
