1. Blade is great.

   The blade itself was a very good, quality blade. The only thing that bothered me was the guard did not fit on the tang. Either the hole in theguard must be enlarged or the tang ground down. Not what I expected.

   This was the first time I ordered from Alabama Damascus and was very happy with the knife, but was more so when I seen Lacy Smith was a Christian.God bless and keep up with the good work.

   I’ve ordered quite a few items from Alabama Damascus over the years and am always very pleased with what I receive. Every blade has exceeded expectations. Every time I’ve called all my questions have been answered so customer relations and service are top notch, Lacey is a very nice guy and always does his best to accommodate. An all around great experience and high quality product to work with, I highly recommend to everyone considering making a knife.

4. Damascus Steel knife blade

   Blade looks good. Down-rated due to back edge that will touch the guard is not 90 degrees with knife. The guard is not very well made and needs lots of file work to get it to fit over the tang. Otherwise, the blade looks good.

   Hands down this is the best knife blade made, I’ll be buying plenty more and making knives from Alabama Damascus!
